David and Jessica have over 30 years of combined experience in Horticulture.
David R. Sandrock, PhD HorticultureDavid had an interest in Horticulture, plants, art and design from an early age. He worked for landscape contractors throughout high school and eventually started his own landscape business. He earned a BS and MS in Horticulture from the University of Georgia under world renowned plantsman Michael Dirr. He earned a PhD in Horticulture from Oregon State University (OSU) in 2003. For five years, David taught classes (landscape design, construction and management) and conducted research in Landscape Horticulture at the University of Florida and Oregon State University. David is a Licensed Landscape Contractor, a Licensed General Contractor and an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist. 
Jessica H. Sandrock, MS HorticultureJessie is a native Oregonian and enjoys combining her interest in plants and plant products with her passion for teaching. She worked for two Portland nurseries throughout high school and went on to earn a BS and MS in Horticulture from Oregon State University. Jessie has been teaching both in and out of the classroom since 2000. Courses she has taught include landscape management, landscape design, viticulture, and wine production. She has taught at Chemeketa Community College, Linn Benton Community College, Oregon State University and Regional Extension and Master Gardener Workshops. |
